BCSL conducts education and awareness programs on Coastal biodiversity conservation. The awareness programs mainly targeted two groups school children and adult community members at the fisheries societies including both males and females. Moreover, we have conducted awareness and training programs for government officers such as the Department of Wildlife Conservation, Coast Guard, Police, school teachers, MOH offices, etc. So far it has conducted over 400 programmes since 2013. The programs were conducted in Mannar, Puttalam, Gampaha, Colombo, Kaluthara, Galle, Matara, Hambanthota, and Kandy districts.
